Its a year since our first Fuelling Manchester social and the 17th February (2011) will see the fourth in this series of gatherings for all those of us involved in community renewable projects, be that: water turbine co-operatives; bio-mass and woodland management enterprises; waste-to-energy projects, solar energy collectives or those involved in community-focused action on insulation and energy efficiency.
The Kindling Trust & Manchetser's Carbon Co-op have organised this networking and information sharing opportunity at the Bulls Head Pub (Near Piccadilly Train Station on London Road) for 6pm.
There will be no formal agenda, simply an opportunity to meet with like-minded individuals and complimentary projects from across Greater Manchester and beyond. We will however be giving groups the opportunity to 'Show & Tell' us about their projects and we hope new partnerships will be discussed.
Some of the projects who have been invited include: Greater Manchester Tree Station; Peak District Energy Co-op; Energy Savings Trust; Fairfield Materials Management; MERCi, GMCVO; URBED; Co-ops UK.
If you are interested in attending please get in touch via our Contact Page or just turn up.
