Join us for our very first Open Farm Sunday at Kindling Farm!
We'll be throwing open our farmyard gates this summer as we celebrate Open Farm Sunday 2026. You'll have a chance to explore our fields, discover what and how we grow, and learn more about our plans for the farm's future. You can expect to meet the growers, take part in farm tours and snap a selfie on the tractor.
About Open Farm Sunday:
Open Farm Sunday (OFS) is a national celebration organised by LEAF (Linking environment and farming). On this day, farms up and down the country open their gates to the public offering people the opportunity to see how their food is grown and how farms work. We have been celebrating OFS at out Woodbank Community Food Hub for a couple of years (and it's always been such a hit!) but this will be our very first year celebrating at Kinling Farm - we hope you can join us!
You must register to come to this event as facilities and parking are limited; please make sure you register everyone who will be coming along on the day - thank you. This event is free to attend.
The farm is about to undergo refurbishment so unfortunately it is not wheelchair accessible at the moment. We have limited facilities with one indoor toilet which is up a set of stairs and a camping loo on the ground floor. As a working farm, the ground can be uneven in places making activities in the fields difficult for those with limited mobility. If you have any questions about access, please contact: hayley@kindling.org.uk
By registering for this event, you are booking on to the morning time slot which runs between 10.30am-1pm. Want to join us for the whole day? Please register for the afternoon session here.

By bus:
The number 79C runs between Liverpool and Runcorn. The bus stop is only a 3 minute walk to the farm! Bus fare is £2 each way.
By bicycle:
Use the Liverpool Loop Line to reach the farm. This green corridor is flat and almost entirely traffic-free.
To help reduce carbon emissions, why not consider carpooling?! We will send you an event reminder email ahead of the event date which will include directions to the farm.
