Join us for a rewarding & informative day of farming! Our volunteer days will be a real chance to get your hands dirty and get involved in the food production.
Help us prepare the polytunnels ready for growing tomatoes, cucumber, spring onions and radish. From setting up plant supports to getting your hands dirty and getting the plants in the ground, as many hands on deck as possible would be very welcome!!
Our volunteering days are a great opportunity to get to know Kindling Farm and your fellow farm community a bit better. We will provide refreshments, a hearty soup and good company!

It's really easy travelling to the farm by public transport...
By train:
The nearest train station is Hough Green - trains from Manchester and Liverpool call here. It is a really straight forward walk along Netherley Road (B5178) to us; it takes around 30 minutes to walk.
By bus:
The number 79C runs between Liverpool and Runcorn. The bus stop is only a 3 minute walk to the farm! Bus fare is £2 each way.
By bicycle:
Use the Liverpool Loop Line to reach the farm. This green corridor is flat and almost entirely traffic-free.
To help reduce carbon emissions, why not consider carpooling?! We will send you an event reminder email ahead of the event date which will include directions to the farm.
