Christmas has arrived at Kindling Farm! Celebrate the festivities with a day of heritage craft making, mulled wine and Kindling treats for sale!
Join us this Christmas for a day of traditional crafts and heritage activities from an array of craftspeople and artisan makers from across the Northwest.
Get hands-on and give heritage crafts a go by joining drop-in workshops suitable for all the family, where you can make your own Christmas decorations and gifts. With demos on the day, you will learn about endangered traditional crafts from the people keeping them alive!
We will have Kindling Christmas trees and foodie delights available to buy from our Market Stall. Head to the Barn for a glass of mulled wine (non-alcoholic option available) or a hearty seasonal soup.
Join us in the courtyard for carolling around the campfire and discover the history of Kindling Farm in a mini-exhibition curated by our volunteers and local community.
You must register to come to this event - please don’t just turn up as facilities are limited.
The farm is very easy to get to using public transport and due to limited parking on site, we are encouraging people to travel by bus or train. To help us keep track of car parking spaces, please email us ahead of time to secure a parking space. Email: hayley@kindling.org.uk
There are two opportunities to attend this event. You can book a time slot between 10am-12noon or 2-4pm. Please make sure you are booking for the right time slot.
We kindly ask that you don’t bring your dogs with you.
We do not have a cafe on site but refreshments will be available (donations are welcome).
The farm is about to undergo refurbishment so unfortunately it is not wheelchair accessible at the moment. We have limited facilities with one indoor toilet which is up a set of stairs and one outdoor camping loo.
Some activities on the day will take place outdoors and the site is generally an open and windy site; we recommend wearing a couple of layers to keep warm and we never can trust the weather so it’s best to bring a waterproof! As a working farm the ground can be uneven in place so we suggest wearing sturdy footwear.
By registering for this event, you are booking on to the morning time slot which runs between 10am - 12pm.
