Please register below for this volunteer day at Kindling Farm, on Sunday 1st March 2026 (9.30am-4pm)
Help establish our agroforestry system at the farm!
After two very successful years of apple tree planting at the farm, we're now expanding our agroforestry system to including plums and quince (and some more apples)! They're currently sitting happily in the courtyard but as we move into the new year, one of our first volunteer tasks is to get them in the ground!
The day will involve a wide range of tasks, from digging the holes, banging in stakes, mulching the planted trees; to taking the trees, equipment and mulch to the right place in the fields (they are big fields!).
As you can see from the list of tasks, this will be quite a physically demanding day. We will make sure we have breaks and look after you!
Days will run from 9.30am - 4pm and it's a great opportunity to get to know Kindling Farm and some of your fellow farm volunteers a bit better, and say that you have played a part in establishing an agroforestry system for the North West! We will provide refreshments, a hearty soup at lunchtime and good company!
If you are wanting to book for more than one person, please make sure you register them separately.
