Join us for a practical weekend of woodwork and help the wildlife at Kindling Farm to thrive!
We'll be coming together to create new habitats for birds, bats and new this year, hedgehogs. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the different species we've spotted here and play your part in supporting biodiversity at the farm by establishing new habitats.
You don't have to have any woodwork experience, we'll be on-hand to guide you through the process. All materials and tools will be provided.
Our volunteering days are a great opportunity to get to know Kindling Farm and your fellow farm community a bit better. As with all of our volunteer days, we will provide refreshments, a hearty soup and good company!

It's really easy travelling to the farm by public transport...
By train:
The nearest train station is Hough Green - trains from Manchester and Liverpool call here. It is a really straight forward walk along Netherley Road (B5178) to us; it takes around 30 minutes to walk.
By bus:
The number 79C runs between Liverpool and Runcorn. The bus stop is only a 3 minute walk to the farm! Bus fare is £2 each way.
By bicycle:
Use the Liverpool Loop Line to reach the farm. This green corridor is flat and almost entirely traffic-free.
To help reduce carbon emissions, why not consider carpooling?! We will send you an event reminder email ahead of the event date which will include directions to the farm.
