Celebrate the collective success of the Agroforestry project with cider, apple juice and a hot meal!
We're throwing a bash to celebrate the completion of the Agroforestry project!
It's been an incredible year and it's all down to you incredible volunteers giving your time, energy and enthusiasm. We're on track to have 9000 trees grafted and 3000 of those shared with community groups, schools and orchards. There is no way this could have happened without you, and we want to say a massive thank you. Together we've helped make a big step forward in re-building local fruit production and bringing more justice to the food system
To celebrate, we're going to have some hot food, cider and apple juice round the new fire pit at Woodbank! It's a great chance to re-connect with other volunteers, take stock of how far we've come, and chat about what we could all do next! If anyone wants to, they can graft a few trees to take home. And we'll likely have a Wassail just for good luck too.
We're going to run an apple-related pudding competition too, so bring your pies, tarts and crumbles!
