Our very popular Saturday volunteering days return after the winter, with us starting to prepare for the new growing season at Woodbank Community Food Hub in Stockport.

Event details:

Tasks for the day will include weeding the boundary of the field, removing the plastic mulches that have protected the field over winter and, if the weather is dry enough, washing the polytunnels.

We expect covid restrictions to still be in place, so please expect to be working some distance from other volunteers and bring your own refreshments and food.

Although a steep cycle from Stockport through Vernon and Woodbank Parks, there are many quiet routes to us and secure bike locking on site.
There is a large free car park just 100 m from the site at the end of Edwin Street.
