Please register below for this Volunteering day at our Tree Nursery site in Glazebury, on Sunday the 26th November 2023 (10am - 4pm).
Come and help us prepare for our epic tree planting week!
Before we can plant the trees there a lot of preparation needed to move them over from our tree nursery at Glazebury. This includes checking the health of the trees, digging them up, removing as much soil as possible to stop the transfer of pests and weed speeds, and crucially, packing them carefully for the journeys.
These sessions will involve quite physical work and the facilities are pretty basic at the Glazebury site, but as many hands on deck as possible would be very welcome!
Days will run from 10am - 4pm and it's a great opportunity to get to know your fellow farm members a bit better - and to do something a little bit different with your day. We will provide refreshments, a delicious organic soup and good company!
