Event details:

Are you involved in a community orchard? This is a modified version of our heritage fruit tree grafting, designed for people who are currently undertaking community orchard management.

You'll receive a quick training session, and then begin work on grafting a curated set of fruit trees for your orchard. We'll store the trees on-site at Stockport to keep an eye on them and manage the aftercare, ready for planting out in orchards in the Autumn.

As ever, please do bring a packed lunch, warm and waterproof clothes (that you don't mind getting dirty!), and a mask. We'll be providing refreshments but it helps a lot if you're able to bring your own mug.

If you have any access needs please let us know in advance and we will endeavour to meet them where possible. Just email us at volunteer@kindling.org uk. We have a lower table if you need to be seated, and have a range of tools for grafting.

We have some space to host more people if you're from the same household or bubble and you've all done the training. If this is the case, and you want to bring them along, please email volunteer@kindling.org uk for more info!
