As a workers' cooperative, Veg Box People connect customers with some of the freshest most local organic produce around. By delivering to community ‘hubs’ rather than individual homes it saves on transport, means customers don't have to wait in for delivery and keeps the scheme affordable.
Veg Box People is helping to build the market for organic veg grown in the NorthWest. They source largely from the most local veg growers to Manchester, including Kindling's FarmStart site, so you can even volunteer on the farms your food comes from! Boxes start from as little as £6.
The bags are easy to collect and not difficult at all to fit into your day and the variety of what you get and the differences in what you get are part of the fun of it!.

Join Greater Manchester's fastest growing organic veg box scheme and conveniently pick up your local veg from us, weekly or fortnightly, from a choice of collection points.
Most of the produce is grown within 50 miles, with veg picked to order, often just hours before it appears in your box, so it's super fresh.
Veg bags come in four sizes: a starter bag for £6, a small bag for £9, medium for £12.50 and large for £15.85.

Veg Box People and its growers are certified with the Soil Association, ensuring integrity of the food supply chain from farm to fork.
It is also one of the first ethical food businesses to be accepted as a member of the Better Food Trader, a body established to support and promote fair trading practices.

We offer many opportunities to meet our farmers throughout the year.
For example, Open Farm Sunday on 13th June and the Prince's Countryside Walk on Sunday 1st August.
Open Farm Sunday is an opportunity to meet our Woodbank FarmStarters and our Countryside Walk starts from the wonderful Abbey Leys Farmers' market.
