Grow, Cook, and Eat
Grow, Cook and Eat supports people to take greater control of their health and wellbeing. The programme combines local organic veg, with cookery, socialising and food growing, at Woodbank Community Food Hub in Woodbank Park, Stockport.
*Grow, Cook & Eat has been temporarily suspended due to Covid-19. Subject to local restrictions, we are running a ‘Gardening for Wellbeing’ programme until further notice. We are accepting referrals now for our 2021 programme, which will begin at the end of March. Please use the contact form below to enquire about taking part or making a referral.
Grow, Cook and Eat is one of a growing number of projects which the NHS and other services are referring people to, as part of what is known as Social Prescribing. Here you can find information about social prescribing and links to related pieces of research.
If you feel your client or a person you are supporting could benefit from taking part in Grow, Cook & Eat, please read our referral information before completing and returning a referral form.
If you have any questions about Grow, Cook & Eat then please get in touch for more information.
