Community Gardening

Whether you're new to gardening, or a seasoned allotmenteer you are always welcome to join the community garden.

Join our community gardeners every Monday at Woodbank Community Food Hub.

You'll meet a variety of like-minded people, and get to try your hand at horticulture. Whether that's caning beans, watering tomatoes or adding compost - there's a job for every level and ability. With a fully accessible cabin and raised planting area we can cater to everyone's needs. Our Community Coordinator is on-site to guide you through it all. Attendees do need to be able to work independently.

Drop in Gardening Sessions

The Community Garden is a relaxing space where you can try your hand at growing some delicious vegetables as part of a warm and welcoming team of community gardeners.

The garden includes a poly tunnel for under cover growing (like delicious heritage tomatoes!), accessible raised beds, dozens of veg beds, a fruit cage, a small orchard, a herb garden and areas for wildlife.

We provide all the tools and equipment you will need and will be there to guide you and offer support. So email us on community@kindling.org.uk or pop in to the garden on a Monday or Thursday after 11am to find out more!

You can find us on the map below at Woodbank Park, just south of Stockport town centre.
